Finally you, as a health care practitioner, can
quickly enter patient histories and treatment records, and then retrieve them in almost
any grouping you wish. This can be done fast right from your computer.
Especially designed to save typing, Hot keys enable you to store favorite
sentences, or your most dreaded "finger busters" and then enter them in
your treatment notes by tapping a single key. Also, automatic defaults are
pre-entered in many data-entry fields. Mednotes does most of the work before you
start.
MEDNOTES or MOBIDENT?
A Mobident chart is simply Mednotes customized for dentistry. Mobident is
dedicated to dentistry and cannot be changed. Get Mobident only if you are a dentist.
Mednotes is customizable to your special needs. Whether you be a podiatrist, nurse,
surgeon, dentist, or "other", 18 different fields on the front page of your
treatment records may be changeable to your specific requirements. Just press
SHIFT-F3 anywhere in Mednotes and the Field Labels Screen pops up.
RECALL SYSTEM
Do you need to see anyone within a given time interval? You can discover who is due to be
checked by month, year, or your own defined time period.
TREATMENT RECORDS - Retrieve all, or for a particular day, month, or other time
period.
FIND THAT PATIENT! Search through 20 different fields to locate that elusive
patient, Last name, First name, Recall date, Medications, Diagnosis, Chief Complaint -- on
and on.
REPORTS - Whole Chart Printouts, Treatment for a Given Date, To Do List, Recall
Date, Next Appointment Date, Number of Patients in Group ---- and infinitely more.
Preformatted and ready for you to push the button.
All reports may be printed out, copied to disk in ASCII or HTML (web page) format,
or exported in the delimited format of your choice. This makes it possible to use them for
faxing, E-mail, export to word processor, or other database program.

This has been designed to be especially convenient and easy.

Locate Patients not seen in last year
Problem: Locate all the patients you meant to see in the past year, but
haven't. In the real world, you must review all your treatment records in the past
year, checking of each patient seen as you go along, and flagging the ones not seen. So
time consuming is this task that it is not done, but Mednotes/Mobident can do it in
minutes, even seconds for you. Here's how:
| From the Main Menu, Select Group Functions|Operation date|C = Group. |
| Define your date range for the year like 1996/01/01 to 1996/12/31. (note
the year is entered first). Answer Yes to the two prompts asking if you are
done and to continue. |
| As you advance to the Functions Menu, you will see the treatment records
being scanned and patients flagged. |
| Use the R=Special Reports|Reverse Group Report. This report gives
you all of those records not flagged in your defined group. |
| A neat report of all those patients not seen for the designated year is
listed. |
Another report will tell you of the date last seen of any group of
patients you choose to define. At the Functions Menu, select R=Special Reports|L
=Last Contact.

Save time on Keystrokes and Searches
Mednotes has many ways to save you keystrokes on data entry, and save you time
in searching for your patients. Frequently used phrases and patient searches are easy and
speedy.
Cut and Paste Your Treatment Entries
You’ll find it easy to grab exactly the information you need. Your Chart's
Front Page and entries are easily customized. Simple menu choices allow General Medical
Working Diagnosis, Medications, and your customized fields to be included in Treatment
Reports. Treatment Entries also may be grouped with simple menu choices.
